Bond University for USA students

Why choose Bond University?

With more than 300 days of sunshine per year and some of the best waves in the world, our seaside city attracts students from the United States every semester. Studying at Bond University will allow you to learn and live alongside Australians, explore the natural beauty of the local landscapes, and get up close to our iconic animals at the local Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Our beautiful Robina campus sits at the geographical heart of the Gold Coast which means you could explore a new beach or waterfall in the morning before hitting the books in the afternoon.

Between our lakeside, sandstone buildings you’ll find Australia’s most highly rated student experience. For the better part of two decades, Bond has remained Australia’s number one university for student experience*. We’ve also got one of the lowest student-to-teacher ratios in the world with career support tailored to your dreams.

I loved the international perspective of study, and student body. It felt like a place entrepreneurs could take up space and challenge themselves. Even though at that time, I didn't realize that's what I was seeking.

Katie Frederick - Founder, Digital Wing

I would definitely encourage anyone and everyone from the United States to go to Bond University. Whether you study for a month or finish your degree as I did it will be an unforgettable experience. Don't hesitate at all - it is a beautiful campus, with lovely people, amazing beaches, and a fantastic community of students that you will have lifelong friendships and business relationships with.

After completing studies at Bond. I moved from the Gold Coast to Mexico, to start working with PricewaterhouseCoopers to kick-start this international career. Following some time at PWC in Sydney, I applied for a job with Maersk, the largest multinational shipping line in the world, and in the last 8 years with the company I have lived in four different locations from Oceania to Europe, the Middle East, and now North America based in the New York area. I've grown my finance career with the organization, and am now the Chief Financial Officer for the Maersk terminal, APM Terminals Elizabeth, on the US East Coast.
