Membership information
To ensure the best possible environment for our students, staff and alumni, Bond University Sports Centre access is limited to current Bond students, Bond staff and their spouses and/or dependents, and Bond University alumni. A Bond University alumnus is someone who has successfully graduated from a Bond academic award at an AQF of level 7 and above.
Membership types and how to join
The Sports Centre offers casual access and longer‑term memberships for eligible members of the Bond community.

Bond students
Included with SSAF
Bond students receive access to the Sports Centre and facilities upon payment of the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) in the current semester.
This includes access to gym facilities and general use of the Sports Centre during opening hours.
To access the Sports Centre and facilities, you’ll need to present your Bond student ID.
No additional fees apply for standard student access.
How to join
Your membership begins upon payment of the SSAF for each semester. No additional application is required.

Bond staff
Bond staff can choose from casual access or longer‑term memberships.
Access type Cost Day pass $10 1 week $20 1 semester $150* 12 months $450* *Ongoing regular payroll salary deduction for membership fee is available for Bond University and Bond University College full-time and part-time Academic, Teaching and Professional Staff.
How to join
- Fill out the Staff Membership Agreement form
- Email the signed form to [email protected] or return in person to the Sports Centre Reception

Bond staff spouse/dependants

How to join
- Fill out the Staff Dependent form
- Ensure it is signed by the appropriate persons
- Return the form to the Sports Centre
- The Staff Dependent to complete the membership application form and provide payment for the membership

Bond alumni
Bond alumni can select from off‑peak or full memberships.
Membership type Cost 1 semester
Off peak - access from 5.45am to 2pm
$200 1 semester
Full - access during all opening hours
$300 #Off‑peak and full access conditions apply and will be explained at sign‑up.
Where an individual's membership is terminated by the University (including by Sports Centre Management), they may or may not be entitled to a pro rata refund. Refunds are issued at the discretion of Sports Centre Management. For further details of the terms and conditions of membership, please consult the Sports Centre Policy.

Public membership
Memberships are not available to the general public. Access is limited to eligible members of the Bond community.
- Bond University Sporting Club membership: included in club registration fee
- Bond University Swimming Club membership: included in club registration fee
- Study tour supervisors: No fee for duration of tour
- Honorary staff membership: Same basis as Bond staff
Membership inclusions
As a patron of the Bond Sports Centre, you will have access to:
- Use of the Sports Centre gym and training areas
- Access to cardio, strength and functional training equipment
- Pool and court access during opening hours
- Group fitness classes
- Change rooms and amenities
All members train in a professionally staffed, inclusive campus environment.
