Connecting our community
Bond University sits at the heart of a vibrant, diverse and dynamic community.
Beyond the classroom, we want all of our students to be part of that community, as active participants and caring contributors.
Wherever they find themselves living in the world, it is important that Bond graduates understand the value of giving back and the importance of service to others.
"We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give."
- Winston Churchill
It all starts here on campus, where we are immensely proud of the many ways that our Bondies are making a difference.
Making the world a better place
In July 2019, we became the first private, independent university in the Pacific region to be accepted as a signatory to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Pro bono clinics
Our law academics and students offer free legal services and information through Bond's Community Law Clinics. Our clinics are led by legal practitioners and supported by law student volunteers, providing invaluable legal advice and family dispute resolution services. At Bond University, we are dedicated to empowering the community with access to justice and vital legal assistance.
Psychology Clinic
The Bond University Psychology Clinic has been providing counselling services to the Gold Coast community since 1999. It is a full-service teaching and training clinic where our psychology master's students complete their practical internship placements under the supervision of world-renowned psychology professors and practitioners.
Student volunteers
You’ll find our students volunteering in remote Indigenous communities, on isolated Pacific Islands and right here on the Gold Coast.
Beyond Bond
Our unique extracurricular program, Beyond Bond, makes ‘giving back’ part of every Bond undergraduate degree.
