The Bond FinTech Hub

Providing students with financial training and services, the Bond FinTech Hub is a cutting-edge on-campus facility. It’s made up of three rooms – the Trading Room, the Dealing Room and the Clearing House – two of which are equipped with a collective 40 Bloomberg Terminals, more than any university in Australia. 

How students can use the FinTech Hub

Students across finance, business data analytics, actuarial science and other disciplines regularly have class in the FinTech Hub, where they’ll learn how to execute deals, manage portfolios, trade financial securities and adapt to changing market conditions. The Bloomberg Terminals themselves house a huge range of financial data that can be used to support learning, analysis and research.  

Our Bloomberg partnership

Our status as a Bloomberg Experiential Learning partner means that Bond Business School students have the opportunity to gain an industry-recognised Bloomberg certification. After achieving this, you will be granted 24/7 access to the FinTech Hub, which has its own dedicated supervisor and full-time help services available. We’re one of only three universities in Australia to have secured the Bloomberg Experiential Learning partnership.  

Training and support

Bond Business School offers training sessions in both Bloomberg and R Programming to all Bond University students throughout each semester. The Bond FinTech Hub has a dedicated manager who is available to consult with students and assist them with using the facilities and software available. Commercialisation Centre

The Commercialisation Centre builds tomorrow’s innovative thought leaders, one by one. It aims to provide expertise in the design and delivery of the Bond Business School’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation experiential education components, while also developing and delivering workshops, programs and events that foster entrepreneurship and innovation and reach across and beyond Bond University.
