Bond University offers state-of-the-art creative facilities supporting film, television, journalism, and digital media students. The Film and TV Studios feature high-end production equipment and a fully equipped digital studio, while the Creative Hub, in partnership with Screen Queensland, fosters collaboration between students and industry professionals. The Equipment Loan Store provides unmatched access to professional-grade gear, and the Journalism Newsroom offers a dynamic space for students to develop their storytelling skills.
The Bond University Film & Television Academy (BUFTA)
The Bond University Film & Television Academy (BUFTA) runs Australia’s premier filmmaking competition for high school students. Competitive, fun and fast-paced, BUFTA is open to Year 11 and 12 students. Many BUFTA participants and Bond alumni have gone on to pursue incredible global careers in the industry

Research in creative practices
Our Creative Practices researchers examine the role of technology, work practices and education in the film industry. Areas of particular interest include the use of the latest technologies in screen project development, sustainable and equitable work practices in the global screen industry and how higher education institutions can impact the development of the film industry and its practitioners.
