Why does Bond offer scholarships?
Bond University’s scholarship program aims to recognise achievements in the areas of academia, sport, leadership, and extracurricular activities. As a not-for-profit organisation, our scholarships provide an opportunity to further support our students’ studies and give back to our new Bondies.

What types of scholarships are available at Bond?
Our scholarship offering awards both Australian and international students across all study levels the chance to receive reduced tuition fees for the duration of their degree. Bond offers a generous scholarship program made up of a range of full-fee and part-fee scholarships and are designed to reward and recognise students who have excelled in the areas of academia, leadership, community engagement, and sport.

Does Bond offer any equity-based scholarships or to those experiencing financial hardship?
Bond University’s scholarship program aims to recognise achievements in the areas of academia, sport, leadership, and extracurricular activities. We do not award any scholarships to new students solely on the basis of financial hardship; however, Bond is pleased to partner with a number of external organisations and government bodies that provide further additional grants, bursaries and scholarships. Are there any scholarships available for students that live in remote areas?
Bond University’s scholarship program aims to recognise achievements in the areas of academia, sport, leadership, and extracurricular activities. We do not award any scholarships to new students solely on the basis of their residence; however, Bond is pleased to partner with a number of external organisations and government bodies that provide further additional grants, bursaries and scholarships for students from regional and remote area. Are there any scholarships for Medicine?
We currently only provide one scholarship the Bond Medical Program - the First national Medical Scholarship. Learn more to see if you are eligible to apply.

What documents are required to support my scholarship application?
Each scholarship has different supporting document requirements. Use our Scholarship Finder Tool to search all scholarships and view the ‘how to apply’ section for details on what supporting documents are required. You will be required to attach any required documents to your scholarship application. Failing to include the required document will result in your scholarship application not being assessed.
Many scholarships will ask you to provide supporting documents such as evidence of achievements, essays, statements, videos, or portfolios. This is your opportunity to demonstrate how you meet the eligibility criteria, so make sure everything you provide is clear, concise, and relevant. If a template is provided, it is required that you use the template provided. Failing to use the template provided will result in your scholarship application not being assessed.

Are there any funding opportunities to assist with financing my degree aside from scholarships?
Bond is pleased to partner with a number of external organisations and government bodies, to provide Bondies with the opportunity to apply for further additional grants, bursaries and scholarships. These are generally funded by the partner or government body and may have a different application process to our other scholarships. Learn more.
Australian citizens can also defer their tuition fees via FEE-HELP, an interest-free loan, which can be used in conjunction with your scholarship. Learn more.

What are my obligations to maintain my scholarship?
Some scholarships have a number of obligations that must be adhered to in order to maintain the scholarship. Use our Scholarship Finder Tool to search all scholarships and view the ‘obligations’ section for details on what obligations may be attached to your scholarship before making your application. A full list of obligations and/or conditions will be sent with your scholarship offer. Failing to meet the requirements and/or obligations of your scholarships will result in your scholarship award being suspended.
