Student advocacy support

Advocacy support for our students

Through the Bond University Student Association (BUSA), Bond offers a free and confidential Student Advocacy service to assist students who seek guidance on grievances or for help to prepare for appeals and disputes.

BUSA has a dedicated advocacy director who has a thorough understanding of the Bond University Policies and Procedures. Their main responsibilities include assisting students in understanding these policies and procedures, helping students undergoing grievances to gain an understanding of their situation and providing them with advice on how to best proceed with the appeals process.

Main advocacy areas

The three main areas that the advocacy director can provide information and assistance to students include:

  • Academic (grades)
  • Administrative (fees)
  • Disciplinary (academic misconduct and plagiarism)
