Student advocacy support

Advocacy support for our students

The Bond University Student Association (BUSA) offers a free and confidential Student Advocacy service to assist students seeking guidance on grievance processes or for help to prepare for appeals and disputes.

BUSA’s Vice President (Representation) and a subcommittee of advocacy officers have a detailed understanding of Bond University’s Policies and Procedures. They assist students in understanding these policies and procedures, help students involved in the disciplinary process to gain an understanding of their situation and provide guidance on how best to proceed with the appeals process.

Main advocacy areas

The three main areas that the advocacy director can provide information and assistance to students include:

  • Academic (grades)
  • Administrative (fees)
  • Disciplinary (academic misconduct and plagiarism)
