Put your skills to the test

These annual events are run by Bond University and are for high school students who want to put their skills to the test, gain knowledge of a future study area, and experience university life in a fun and unique way. 

National High School Mooting competition

Step into the shoes of a professional lawyer at the National High School Mooting Competition hosted by Bond University Faculty of Law. Compete against other students in front of real judges, barristers, and lawyers. This is an unmatched opportunity for high school students in Years 11 and 12 who want to build valuable legal skills.

Bond University Film & Television Awards (BUFTA)

Have you ever dreamt of attending the Oscars? While we can’t guarantee you that, we can offer you Bond University’s very own version of the filmmaking competition. Open to Year 11 and 12 students, The Bond University Film & Television Awards (BUFTA) gives you a chance to show off your creative skills in writing, directing, editing, and producing a short film. With a grand prize of a full scholarship to study the Bachelor of Film and Television at Bond, this is one event that budding filmmakers don’t want to miss!

Bond University High School Model United Nations (BUHMUN) conference

The Bond University High School Model United Nations (BUHMUN) conference is a two-day experience that challenges high school students to take on the role of a modern diplomat and represent a country’s position in simulated international debates. A hands-on and exciting opportunity for students to learn about international relations and find out more about Bond University.

The Bond Business School Year 12 Extension Program is a two-day workshop designed to help prepare high school students for a degree in the business, commerce and entrepreneurship study area.
