Chancellor's Circle

A message from our Chancellor

The landscape of higher education, business, the professions, and moreover, global society has changed much since my undergraduate days.  The world of tech, artificial intelligence, big data, modern communications and societal expectations is much more complex today.

As such, it is important we must be adaptive to these fast-changing times and that the University’s programs remain relevant, teaching practical skills that importantly make them the first choice of employers.

I believe our unique selling proposition is the bespoke support we can provide to each and every student.  We will never be the biggest, the broadest, the cheapest, the most digital. But we can be the best at recognising every student is unique and to tailor the education we provide to that uniqueness.

I have witnessed first hand how the University has changed, and how it has developed since my days as one of the early students. I am very proud of the progression of my alma mater.  However, I am even more excited about its future potential.

On behalf of all the current and past members of the Chancellor’s Circle, I invite you to take part in our future and join us in fostering the next generation of Bondies.

- Mr David Baxby, Chancellor of Bond University

Your generosity will help Bond to sustain its unique tradition of educational excellence and achievement.  The Chancellor’s Circle provides valuable resources to support our students and the academic staff.  Your support will help Bond to continue to provide an exceptional education experience which transforms students’ lives.

This continued level of excellence and support has been a result of the contributions to the Chancellor’s Circle. For the Chancellor’s Circle this year the following funds are highlighted to continue enhancing and supporting the student experience and community.

  • Creative Arts Connection
  • Indigenous Scholarships
  • Endowment Fund

Your gift to the Bond University 2023 Chancellor’s Circle appeal, of $5,000 or more, will ensure the continued success of our students and the institution we hold dear, as well as reinforcing Bond’s unique place in Australian tertiary education.
