Before you arrive
Before you travel, make sure you’ve completed these essential steps to ensure a smooth start to your studies:

1. Prepare your documents
Make sure you have your passport, student visa, and Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) ready.
Student Visa (Subclass 500)
The Student visa (subclass 500) allows you to live, study and work in Australia for the duration of your course, up to 5 years, in line with your enrolment at a CRICOS-registered institution.  -
2. Arrange your accommodation early

5. Set up Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
As an international student in Australia, you are required to have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the entire duration of your study in Australia.
