Which study abroad experience is right for me?

We offer two different opportunities to study abroad at Bond – our Study Abroad Program, open to all international students who meet our entry requirements. Some students may also be eligible for our international student exchange program, run through partner universities around the world.

Learn more about the key differences between these offerings below, and determine which one you are eligible to undertake to bring your global aspirations to life.

Study Abroad Program

Study Abroad Program

Our Study Abroad Program is available to eligible international students and comprises one or two semesters spent at Bond University on the beautiful Gold Coast. Run independently of your university or tertiary institution back home, subjects are paid for to Bond University. Depending on your program at your home university, you will likely be able to receive credit for the subjects you complete at Bond.

Our study abroad programs are:

  • CRICOS course code 108513M | Study Abroad Program – Undergraduate BU-58005/2
  • CRICOS course code 108514K | Study Abroad Program – Postgraduate BU-59001/2

International student exchange

International or inbound student exchange differs from our Study Abroad Program as it is run through a formal agreement between Bond University and your institution back at home. As a result of this partnership, you will continue to pay your tuition fees to your home university, rather than to Bond University. You will have a strong variety of subjects at Bond to pick from that should align with prerequisite or elective subjects and require pre-approval at your current university.

Our exchange programs are:

  • CRICOS course code 108517G | Exchange Program – Undergraduate BU-56020/2
  • CRICOS course code 108518F | Exchange Program – Postgraduate BU-56021/2

Hear from our students

Angela Amunategui, Universidad Del Desarrollo, Santiago, Chile

When I came across Bond University’s website, I realised this university had everything I wanted. It's well known for its academics, close to the beach and very international. I still can’t believe that Bond is a real university. The campus is beautiful, people here are active and energetic, and the classes are fun, interesting and dynamic.
