Medical and Health Services

Bond University offers on-campus medical and wellbeing services to support your physical, mental and emotional health throughout your time at university.

Medical service

Our on-campus medical and health service offers a range of general health services for all current students and staff via appointment with our doctor and nurses.

Services include:

  • General medical consults
  • Prescriptions
  • Health advice and education
  • Breast cancer screening
  • Vaccinations
  • Specialist referrals
  • Mental health assessment and referrals

We also have an on-site, walk-in pathology through 4Cyte Pathology Clinic located in the Medical Service.

The Medical and Health Service is for current students and staff members of Bond University.  It is located on Level 1, Student Court, Building 9. You can view the campus map for directions.

Payment and billing

Fees

If you hold a current Medicare card, all eligible consultations are bulk-billed meaning no out-of-pocket cost. Just remember to bring your card to every appointment.

A few things to note:

  • Private fees apply to some procedures and vaccines. A full private fees list is available at reception.
  • Payment is by credit or debit card at the time of consultation
  • We're currently unable to process instant Medicare rebates
lnternational students with Overseas Student Health Cover (Insurance)
  • International students with Bupa, Allianz, or Medibank/AHM can have eligible services billed directly to their health fund with no upfront payment needed. Just bring your current membership card to every appointment.
  • If you hold another overseas health insurance, consultation fees will need to be paid upfront and claimed back directly through your insurance provider — online or at one of their offices.
  • Private fees also apply to some procedures, medications, and vaccines, payable at the time of consultation. A full private fees list is available at reception.

Student counselling services

Bond offers a free, confidential counselling service for currently enrolled students. Delivered by qualified mental health professionals, counselling can support you with your wellbeing, study pressures, mental health concerns, personal challenges, or adjusting to university life. Sessions are short-term and solution-focused, with referrals available for longer-term or specialised support if needed.
