Following the 2015 launch of Queensland’s first fully accredited actuarial science degrees, Bond Business School has emerged as an international think tank in big data and its application in areas such as actuarial science, economics and data analytics.
Under the leadership of Australia’s most renowned actuarial scientist, Professor Terry O’Neill, the Centre for Data Analytics was established as a global research hub, engaging with government, private enterprise and not-for-profit organisations to ensure that the practical application of big data is optimised by the very latest research.
Our mission
The mission of the Centre for Data Analytics is to establish Bond University as a leading research hub in data analytics, through:
- Outreach and research collaboration
- Expansion of the quality and quantity of research output, and through
- The development of training and technology aimed at strengthening our current research programs and engagement with industry.
