Research interests
Part of my research focuses on the intersection of computer vision, image processing, and machine learning, where I explore techniques to analyse and extract meaningful information from visual data.
I am particularly interested in the theoretical aspects of feature extraction for developing new algorithms in this area.
Another aspect of my research involves parallel computing. I have published works on the optimisation of the performance of computationally intensive tasks and the prediction of runtime for complex parallel environments.
Additionally, I have a current interest in developing interactive visualisations that communicate insights about complex data.

Statement for HDR students
I am actively seeking motivated PhD students to collaborate on research projects in my areas of interest, particularly in interdisciplinary projects that connect these domains to economics, business, and data analytics.
I welcome PhD proposals that align with or complement my research interests and encourage candidates to consider how their ideas could address open questions in economics and business.
I am particularly interested in projects that leverage machine learning to uncover patterns, forecast trends and inform decision-making personnel.
