Gulasekaran Rajaguru (Sekar) obtained his PhD in Economics from National University of Singapore. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Madurai Kamaraj University (India), Master of Statistics from Indian Statistical Institute and Master of Social Sciences (Economics) from National University of Singapore. Prior to joining Bond University, he taught Statistical Data Analysis, Introductory Statistics, Mathematical Economics and Macro and International economics at National University of Singapore.
Sekar worked as an Analysis Executive at the Market Research Organisation in India. He also worked as an Economic Analyst at Union Oil Company of California.
