Bachelor of Communication/ Bachelor of Laws

Program overview

Bond’s fast-track trimester timetable makes it easy to tackle a double degree. In fact, you can complete two degrees here in less time than you could graduate with just one at most other universities.

Our Bachelor of Communication / Bachelor of Laws combination can be completed in just over three years (10 semesters) whereas it can take up to four years to complete a single law degree elsewhere.

The combination of communication and law will help you develop a multi-layered skillset that will make you stand out to employers in almost any industry or work setting.

You will develop written and oral communication skills, a thorough and up-to-the-minute understanding of digital platforms, social media, and mainstream and new media, and an approved law degree for the purpose of admission as a legal practitioner (in conjunction with the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice).

Studying these two in-demand degrees concurrently also represents a significant cost saving compared to studying the two degrees separately.

  • My Bond experience is irreplaceable. I gained so much during my time at Bond - my closest friends, amazing work experience opportunities and the benefit of lecturers/tutors that cared about my success and development.

  • My experience at Bond was incredible! I lived on campus for the duration of my two degrees and from the moment I moved in, it felt like home. There was always something to do if I was not studying, like joining one of the great clubs on campus and meeting new people. When I first started at Bond, I was fortunate to meet a number of students who were partway through their degree and who have become friends and future contacts for my business.

As soon as I stepped on campus, I knew that this was the university I wanted to attend. It was both pretty and had a great atmosphere. The student culture is fun, positive, and lively. Additionally, it is amazing that I can complete a double degree in just over 3 years where normally it would take others longer at normal universities. It has hands down been the best experience of my life – Bond is amazing!

Hannah Goodman - Bachelor of Communication/LLB
