Hotel and Tourism Management at Bond
The upcoming semester for this program will be delivered in a multi-modal format, with classes designed to support and engage all learners. There is no better place in the world to study hotel and tourism management than Australia’s Gold Coast, where over 10 million visitors a year support a growing network of hotels, resorts, theme parks and attractions. Studying in this ‘living laboratory’, the Master of International Hotel and Tourism Management at Bond will prepare you for professional and managerial roles in the tourism industry, including hotels, resorts, airlines, restaurants, theme parks, cruise lines, destination marketing and management organisations and events. Bond has strong relationships with Marriott, Accor, Hilton, InterContinental, Sheraton, Wyndham and many other international tourism organisations to ensure that you have the opportunity to see real industry projects and undertake internships throughout your studies. In this program you will complete a program of core business and advanced hotel and tourism management subjects. There are also a series of experiential exercises that may include field trips, guest lecturers from industry leaders, work experience and projects.

The Master of International Hotel and Tourism Management program is designed for students seeking senior management roles, or wanting to own and operate their own business, within the hotel and tourism industries. Students will complete a program of core business and advanced hotel and tourism management subjects. These advanced subjects are designed to equip graduates with key capabilities expected of managers in the hotel and tourism sectors - including the ability to analyse complex information; develop strategies to identify and manage risk; build business resilience; embed sustainable practices into the business, and manage revenue. The program prepares students to think critically, communicate professionally, work collaboratively, make ethical and responsible business decisions, and work effectively in senior management positions in an industry which is characterised by change and uncertainty. - General elective – A subject that may be chosen from any subject on offer across the University provided requisites, enrolment restrictions and any other faculty requirements have been met.

Students may also choose one of the following opportunities to use your elective subject to have international experiences or an Internship opportunity provided you meet the requirements. Please discuss with the Enrolment Advisor in the Student Business Centre.
- The Study Tour requires approval from the Faculty. (Please note that additional costs and visa requirements are associated with this subject).
- The Internship requires a 2.0 GPA and approval from the Faculty with an application to the Career Development Centre.
- The Individual Study Topic is only available in exceptional circumstances and requires the Program Director's approval.

The below fees are based on the total estimated program fee divided by the number of standard full-time semesters required to complete the program. Fees may vary based on which subjects are selected and the number of subjects enrolled in for each semester.

When considering the fees associated with your studies, keep in mind that Bond’s accelerated schedule means you can finish your degree sooner and be out in the workforce up to a year earlier than most other universities.
This time saving also represents a substantial reduction in accommodation and living costs, plus a full year of extra earnings.

Tuition fees are subject to change on an annual basis and will be charged at the appropriate fee for the year of enrolment.
Academic entry requirements
Completion of an Australian Qualifications Framework Level 7 Bachelor degree at an approved institution.

Credit for prior study
Subject credits may be awarded for previous studies. To apply for credits, you will need to submit academic transcripts including detailed subject outlines/course descriptions for each relevant subject and/or certified copies of testamurs to the Office of Future Students.
