English

Where will your degree take you?

With 350 million people around the world speaking English as a first language and more than 430 million speaking it as a second language, English has become what many term, a global language.

For certain sectors like aviation, tourism, diplomacy, and science – English is a universal language used in these areas.

And increasingly with the growth and expansion of multinational companies around the world, learning English will open the door to working opportunities both within your home country and abroad.

Bond’s English program will improve your English proficiency in addition to helping you to develop academic skills, digital literacies, and intercultural competence in preparation for university study.

Outcomes

English proficiency

You will gain skills in macro areas of reading, writing, listening, and speaking (including pronunciation) in addition to developing the critical thinking and research skills required to help you reach the level of English required to undertake your academic studies at Bond.
