The BUSA Management Committee elections are held in September to October each year. All positions are re-elected at this time.
Nominations open in Semester two each year and close in the first week of Semester three. Candidates follow BUSA Election processes as listed in the Election By-laws. Voting is via a secure link emailed to each student directly and is managed by Electoral Officers nominated by the University. All currently enrolled students are eligible to vote and encouraged to be involved.

Hi Bondies! My name is Zane, and I’m running to be your 2026/27 BUSA President.
One of my biggest priorities is to make your university experience as memorable as possible by building a stronger student community, strengthening our inclusive campus culture, and delivering exciting social events.
As 2025/26 International Director, I introduced the BUSA International Food Fair to bring students together, and I want to continue creating initiatives that make the university experience unforgettable.

Hi Bondies! My name is Jasmin, and I am running to be your 2026/2027 Secretary.
I’m passionate about making sure students feel heard, supported and connected throughout their time at Bond. Through my experience as BUSA Vice President of Representation, I’ve seen how important it is to have leaders who listen to students and turn their ideas into action.
As Secretary, I want to keep the team organised, focused and accountable, so we can create more opportunities for students to get involved, connect with others and make the most of their time at Bond.
Over the past year, I have had the opportunity to serve as HSA Treasurer and, more recently, BUSA Treasurer. Through this, I have gained invaluable experience in managing finances, working with clubs and contributing to the wider student community.
I would love to continue this work into the next term, building on my experience to support clubs, contribute to broader BUSA initiatives and enhance the student experience at Bond.

Having experienced Bond as both an Undergraduate and Postgraduate student by completing my Bachelor of Biomedical Science and now studying Juris Doctor, I bring a cross-faculty perspective to the role of Vice-President Education.

I'm Alex Latimer, a Business student and track sprinter running for Vice President (Sport).
Every club at Bond plays its part in bringing Bondies together, whether that's torping one from outside 50 or swimming like your life depends on it. Biggest club or most niche, every sport gets my equal attention.

Harrison Reid
With a lifelong passion for all sports, combined with extensive experience in sports management, event planning and committee governance, I believe I am the most competent person for the job.
I plan to elevate the student experience with sport through on-campus events, off-campus experiences and an unmatched sporting culture.
Having experience on BUSA as the Clubs and Societies Director, as well as being the current Vice-president of the Touch Football Club and having played for the Bond AFL team, I’ve experienced first hand the positives and the potential Bond sport has to offer to all students. Cheers.

Sport is how I have found my people at Bond. I've swum for Bond at a national level, and I've seen what works and what gets in clubs' way.
As Vice President (Sport), I want that belonging open to everyone — not just athletes. I'll grow social and inter-faculty comps you can join with zero experience, cut the admin load on club executives by simplifying funding and handover, and back a bigger, better-supported UniNationals squad.
I'll fill the stands at Rival Nights and Tier 1 games. Sport at Bond should be easy to join and worth turning up for.
Hi, I’m Zoey and I am studying a Master of International Hotel and Tourism Management. I have been at Bond some time now, as I originally studied a Bachelor of Actuarial Science.
This year I had the privilege of being the event manager for BARTS week 2026, encouraging participation through a range of artistic activities.
Arts is such an important aspect of life that often gets overlooked during university, so I would love the opportunity to further encourage creativity at Bond.

I believe strong student communities are built when students feel heard, supported and able to pursue what they’re passionate about. As a former Cadet Under Officer, I led teams, coordinated events and represented my squadron at regional and state levels.

It would be an honour to be part of the First Nations team. Indigenous welfare and reconciliation have always been close to my heart and inspired me to run for, and be elected as, Captain of the First Nations portfolio at Haileybury College.

Hello! I’m AB, an Egyptian dude who’s lived most of his life in Sydney. I’m studying medicine, but outside of uni you’ll usually find me watching a film, listening to music, or boxing.
Coming from marginalised backgrounds myself has galvanised me to advocate for people who might feel overlooked, particularly those who need additional support, resources or services.
As inclusion director, I want to make sure everyone feels heard, represented and comfortable being themselves. I’d love to bring my experiences and care for people to the role, and it would be a pleasure to serve such a lovely community.
I'm running for Social Director because I genuinely love bringing people together, planning parties, brainstorming themes, and getting a crowd excited for a night out.
Bond's social and event scene has so much potential, and I want to bring that energy into the community.
