Bond University Rugby will celebrate one of its finest club seasons ever at its Awards night on Friday.
Counts are expected to be tight across all grades.
General Manager of Rugby, Sean Hedger, said that's exactly what he'd hope to see given the club has performed so well across the board in season '26.
"While we are obviously disappointed that our first grade men couldn't reach the lofty heights of their 2025 premiership win, we are absolutely delighted to see that their victory and the ongoing success of our Women's Premier squad is starting to inspire real confidence across the whole club."
"I think our performances really reflect that everyone is feeding of genuine belief.
"We've all lifted."
For Hedger, Bond's maiden Colts 1 premiership win was definitely the season's leading story.
"For that group to bounce back after finishing top last year then dropping out in straight finals sets is pretty special."
"They've been ruthlessly determined all season and a fantastic team to watch."
Mostly though, Hedger is delighted to see teams earning shots at titles.
"It speak of a very healthy environment to see six of our seven sides make finals, and four of our teams reach grand finals.
"We deserve to be excited about what the future holds."
And seemingly state selectors agree.
Kenny Harris has capped off an outstanding breakout season by being called into the Reds Super Rugby squad alongside fellow Bull Sharks George Blake, Zane Nonggorr and Harrison Usher.
Meanwhile, six of our Premier Women Bull Sharks will join the Queensland Reds for the Santos Festival of Rugby to be held in Roma in a fortnight's time.
Indya McWilliam is a new Bond inclusion. She'll be joined by Zoe Hanna, Eva Doblo, Kaelyn Passi, Evie Sampson and Paris Mohr.
