Alumni honoured for service to beef industry and sport

Bond University alumni Bryce Camm AM and Michael Murphy OAM have been recognised in the 2026 King's Birthday Honours List.

Bryce Camm, Chief Executive Officer of Camm Agricultural Group and a prominent leader in Australia's beef industry, was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for significant service to the beef cattle industry, to horse sports, and to the community.

A fourth-generation cattle producer, Mr Camm has served as Chair of Beef Australia, President of the Australian Lot Feeders Association, and a director of Cattle Australia and the Red Meat Advisory Council.

He graduated from Bond University with dual degrees in Business Administration and Communications.

Michael Andrew Murphy, a former Australian Olympic diver and long-serving sports administrator, was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to sport administration, particularly diving.

Mr Murphy represented Australia at the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games and won two Commonwealth Games gold medals and a silver medal in 1994.

Following his competitive career, he served on the board of Diving Australia and was Chair of the national body from 2014 to 2022.

He holds Bond University degrees in Commerce and Law.
