About the position

The Student Business Services Department aims to deliver efficient and professional administrative services to students and staff for activities associated with the enrolment, examination, and graduation of students in conjunction with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing process review and improvement.

 

Reporting to the Manager, Timetabling & Examinations, the Advisor and Data Analyst will work as part of a team on the timely and accurate production of class and examination timetables for each semester of study (three times per year) and advising students in the class registration process. This involves data analysis and interpretation of course information and requirements into effective timetables, as well as providing advice and customer service to staff and students in resolving their queries regarding class and examination timetables and subsequent class registration. 

 

About the person

Ideally, the successful candidate will have: 
•    A degree level qualification from a recognised educational institution.  
•    Demonstrated knowledge of timetabling systems, student class registration systems and student management systems.
•    Problem solving, high-level time management and organisational skills.  
•    Demonstrated high level analytical and problem-solving skills including attention to detail 
•    Well-developed computer skills particularly in the use of databases and student management systems. 
•    The ability to build relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders 
•    A great work ethic and feel confident in progressing multiple tasks.
 

Salary details

The salary for this full-time position (36.75 hours per week) commences at $85,707.07 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
