Dr Jennifer Cronin, Chair of Bond University’s Alumni Advisory Board since 2021, is an accomplished leader in tourism, corporate governance, and global business. A proud Bond alumna, she holds both a PhD and a Master of Business Administration from the University. With extensive experience managing multi-million-dollar operations, driving strategic growth, and leading high-performing teams, Dr Cronin now serves as Interim CEO of The Star Gold Coast.

Adrian Puljich is Managing Director of GemLife Communities, one of Australia’s most successful over-50s lifestyle resort operators. He has grown GemLife into a national business offering premium, resort-style communities with modern homes and extensive amenities. Under his leadership, GemLife has become a leading name in the land lease sector, creating stronger communities and enhanced lifestyle opportunities for downsizers.

Medical program alumna Dr Emma Cooper recently joined LifeFlight’s Darling Downs aeromedical team, serving Toowoomba and Roma. Inspired during her early career in South West Queensland, she brings a passion for delivering critical care to patients in remote and regional areas. Following rigorous aeromedical training, Emma is committed to strengthening retrieval services that connect Queenslanders with the lifesaving treatment they deserve. 

Class of 2001

Jane Douglas is a seasoned legal professional with global experience across leading companies. Since 2021, she has served as Senior Legal Counsel at AustralianSuper. Her career highlights include Group General Counsel at PRÆSIDIAD, Head of Legal for Europe and Russia at DP World, and earlier roles with Slaughter and May and King & Wood Mallesons. Jane has also pursued further studies at the London School of Economics.

Class of 2003

Solua Middleton is the inaugural Head of Indigenous Audio at the ABC. With over 25 years in media, including 15 at the ABC, she has championed First Nations voices, cultural representation, and Indigenous talent development. As Chair of the Bonner Committee, she has played a pivotal role in shaping ABC’s approach to Indigenous content. Her work has been recognised with the Henry Mayer Media Prize, Clarion Award, and Human Rights Media Awards.

Class of 2000

Robert Williams SC is a barrister practising in Adelaide and Melbourne, specialising in commercial, construction, insolvency, competition, and class action litigation, as well as domestic and international arbitration. Robert holds first-class law degrees from Cambridge and Bond University and has been recognised for advocacy, integrity, and leadership with his appointment as Senior Counsel with the Supreme Court.

CLASS OF 1997

Kiah Officer, a Bond University alumna with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts, is a highly experienced media lawyer and litigator with more than 20 years’ expertise across television, digital, radio, newspapers, and magazines. Recognised by Doyle’s Guide as a Leading In-House Intellectual Property & TMT Lawyer in 2022, 2023 and 2025, she reached a career milestone in 2025 with her appointment as General Counsel of the ABC, leading the national broadcaster’s legal team with strategic focus, regulatory expertise, and a passion for public interest journalism.
