Learn for credit

Expand on your high school studies and get a headstart on university

Take a deep dive into an area of interest and earn credit towards a university subject with Bond’s unique learn for credit courses. Designed for Year 11 and 12 students, learn for credit courses combine on-campus workshops with online modules you can complete at your own pace.

During each course, you will explore an area you are interested in and develop valuable knowledge and skills to support your high school studies, while gaining an authentic university experience. 

Bond has an action-packed calendar of learn for credit courses offered throughout the year, spanning a range of interesting areas and topics including climate law, creative writing, business and more.

If you complete five of Bond's learn for credit courses, you can apply for credit towards a Bond University subject and obtain two points towards your Queensland Certificate of Education.

How it works

  • Extend on your high school syllabus learning - these experiences are aligned to Year 11 and Year 12 curriculum for select high school subjects.
  • Complete a carefully curated course comprising approximately 24 hours of learning, including a face-to-face workshop, online modules and additional readings and assessment.
  • Complete five courses over Year 11 and 12 and be eligible to apply for credit for one Bond University undergraduate subject.
  • Each offering will contain approximately 24 hours of learning consisting of a face-to-face workshop, online modules, and additional readings.
  • The cost per student will be approximately $50 which includes a catered morning tea and lunch.

Gain credit towards a Bond University subject and two points towards your Queensland Certificate of Education.
