Professional biography
Melissa Vorster is an Adjunct Teaching Fellow at Bond Business School and an Academic Teacher at Bond University College. Melissa teaches mathematics, statistics and economics to students ranging from foundation and diploma to undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Melissa has taught at both Bond University and the University of Queensland and has been repeatedly recognised for her teaching excellence. In addition to her 17 years of academic experience, Melissa also spent time in the Government sector as an economic consultant. In this role, she provided advice to the Commonwealth Government and helped shape national productivity policies. Melissa’s research interests have included experimental studies on the behavioural economics of reciprocity and welfare, as well as longitudinal studies on immigration and the labour market.
