Turning Tactical Research into Operational Readiness
The Tactical Conditioning Optimisation Program (TACOPS) is a flexible, self-paced professional development series designed for those working in or supporting tactical occupations, such as military, law enforcement, corrective services, firefighting, and emergency response. The program offers high-quality, online education for strength and conditioning coaches, physiotherapists, personal trainers, fitness professionals, and occupational therapists seeking to deepen their understanding of the unique health, fitness, and performance demands placed on tactical personnel across their careers.
Each course in the TACOPS series is a standalone learning experience, allowing you to enrol in the topics most relevant to your interests and professional goals.
Two courses are available now:
• Testing and Screening for Tactical Populations, which explores frameworks for assessing fitness, health, and occupational readiness; and
• Load Carriage Across the Tactical Spectrum, which examines the physiological demands and training considerations of carrying loads in tactical roles.
The remaining courses in the eight-part series are currently in development and expected to launch progressively in the next year.
