Undergraduate entry requirements for International Secondary School students

International Qualifications

Qualification  
General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level Subjects
  • A minimum of three (the best three) A level grades are used for entry.
  • A maximum of two AS level subjects may be combined to substitue for one A level subject.
  • Bachelor of Actuarial Science requires a minimum of 11 points.
  • Faculty of Law requires a minimum of 10 points. 
  • All other Faculties and programs require a minimum of 5 points. 
  • Points system:
  • A level subjects: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1
  • AS level subjects: A=2.5, B=2, C=1.5, D=1, E=0.5
 
Global Assessment Certificate (GAC)
  • Overall GAC Grade Point Average 2.6 (3.6 for Law). 
 
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
  • Bachelor of Actuarial Science requires a minimum of 32 points.
  • Bachelor of Laws requires a minimum of 30 points.
  • Bachelor of Business Law; Bachelor of Jurisprudence; and Bachelor of Biomedical Science require a minimum of 28 points.
  • Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science; and Bachelor of Architectural Studies require a minimum of 25 points. 
  • All other programs require a minimum of 24 points.
 
SAT 
  • Bachelor of Actuarial Science requires an SAT score of 1290 
  • Bachelor of Laws requires an SAT score of 1170 
  • All other programs require an SAT score of 1020
  • Evidence of graduation from a secondary education qualification is also required.
