Join some of the industry's best architects for thought-provoking keynotes on design, housing and civic architecture.

Setting the scene: City and its civic nature
Professor Michael Keniger explores the role of public space in shaping urban life, community identity and social connection. As Brisbane prepares for the 2032 Olympic Games, this discussion will consider why civic space matters, how it influences our experience of the city, and what opportunities lie ahead for Brisbane's future.

Housing as a civic act
Housing plays a powerful role in creating meaningful community spaces. Drawing on the award-winning Inala Infill project, Associate Professor Kim Baber examines how thoughtful housing design can foster connection, strengthen neighbourhoods and contribute to the public life of a city.
