Description

French in Business and Media is designed for students who have completed French Language and Culture or equivalent subjects. The aim of this subject is to further develop your awareness and understanding of French speaking societies and cultures, focusing on the French business and media. Using a content and language integrated approach, the subject enhances students’ pre-intermediate communicative competence in the French language.

Learning outcomes

  1. Identify, analyse, evaluate and communicate with the pre-intermediate proficiency level of the French language and transmit broad theoretical knowledge about its use in the French Business and Media.
  2. Independently and in teams, generate and transmit solutions to unpredictable and sometimes complex problems related to the use of the French language in Business and Media.
  3. Apply the knowledge and understanding of the French language in Business and Media to professional work and/or further learning, demonstrating well-developed judgement and responsibility.
