The IT Service Desk provides support to staff and students on all aspects of computing support including:​

MyBond web portal and app support
- Accessing the MyBond web portal
- Downloading and using the MyBond mobile/tablet apps

Students are provided with a Bond Student IT account upon receiving an offer letter to study at Bond University.
Activate your Student IT Account
- Do this only one time.
- During this process, you will set your Bond Student IT Account password.
- Browse to: https://bond.edu.au/activate
- Enter the required information and submit the form (click Submit only once)
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
MFA adds an additional layer of security by requiring a second form of authentication when accessing your Bond Student IT Account.
- Register for MFA via https://bond.edu.au/mfa
- Follow the instructions under MFA Setup Instructions.
Resetting your Bond Student IT Account password
Reset your student account password using one of the methods below.
- Self-Service Password Reset via https://reset.bond.edu.au
- Use this method if your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is working and you don’t know your current password.
- Password Update via https://password.bond.edu.au
- Use this method if your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is working and you know your current password.
- Password Reset Assistance via the IT Service Desk
- Contact the IT Service Desk if your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is not working and you don’t know your current password.

Lecture recordings
Recorded lectures can be viewed from within your subject in iLearn.
Complete the following steps:
- Browse to: https://ilearn.bond.edu.au (or MyBOND > iLearn)
- If prompted, sign in using your Bond Student IT Account email address and password and approve your sign in using the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device for Multi-factor Authentication (MFA).
- Access your subject site
- Click on "Books and tools" (View subject and university tools).
- Click on "Recording and Videos" (Panopto)
- Click on the thumbnail of the recording you would like to view
- Close the Copyright Notification

Email and Microsoft 365 apps
Access Bond University student email:
- Browse to: https://email.bond.edu.au (or MyBOND > Outlook)
- If prompted, sign in using your Bond Student IT Account email address and password and approve your sign in using the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device for Multi-factor Authentication (MFA).
Add Bond University student email on your mobile phone:
- Open the app store
- Find and install the Microsoft Outlook app
- Add your account using your Bond student email address,
e.g., [email protected]
Install Microsoft 365 apps on your personal computer:
- Using a web browser, go to: https://portal.office.com/account
- If prompted, sign in using your Bond Student IT Account email address and password and approve your sign in using the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device for Multi-factor Authentication (MFA).
- Click ‘Install Office’
- Enrolled Bond students can install Microsoft 365 apps on 5 personal devices.

Bond University provides a pay for print and copy service which incorporates free scanning:

Printing, copying, scanning
Top Ups
- Browse to: https://printing.bond.edu.au (or MyBOND > Printing)
- If prompted, sign in using your Bond Student IT Account email address and password and approve your sign in using the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device for Multi-factor Authentication (MFA).
- Select the ‘Add Print Credit’ tab.
- Select the amount to add, enter your bank account details.
- You will require a Credit Card or Visa Debit Card for this transaction.
Copying
- Swipe / tap your Student ID card, copy, insert documents into the automatic document feeder, select the settings you want, start.
- Your credit amount on your card will reduce by the amount copied.
Printing
- To release your printing:
- Swipe / tap your student ID card.
- Tap secure print.
- Select the files you wish to print, then print jobs.
- Your credit amount on your card will reduce by the amount printed (e.g., number of prints, colour or single sided settings etc.).
Print Shop
- Located on Main Library, Level 2
- Dedicated print operator
- Production quality, large volume, high quality prints of various types (booklets, posters, leaflets, etc.)

Campus Network and WiFi
- BondStudents - The preferred wireless network for students.
- Eduroam - A secure global Wi‑Fi service for visitors from participating institutions. Bond students can also use eduroam when visiting other universities.
How to connect to Student Wi-Fi
- Select BondStudents or Eduroam from the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your device.
- When prompted, sign in using your Bond Student IT Account
- Full student email address
- Password
- If a security certificate warning appears, accept or trust the certificate to complete the connection.
Students living on campus have access to internet services within student residences. You may bring your own personal computer or device and connect using either Wi‑Fi or the wired network.
Wired Network (Student Residences):
- Connect a network cable to the wall port and your device.
- If the room has a white wireless access point (WAP) connected to the wall port, use a network cable to connect to a spare port in the WAP and your device.
- When you attempt to browse to a website on your device, you will be redirected to a login page.
- Use your Bond Student IT Account email address and password to complete the connection.
