Description
International Law is an elective subject in postgraduate programs offered by the Faculty of Law. This subject introduces students to the laws regulating the relations between states. It provides foundational understanding of international legal and governance frameworks and their application to the complexities of international relations and the challenges facing the global community.

- Critically evaluate the laws regulating the relations between States and the role of international law in global governance.
- Design and execute a legal research project, using International Law legal research methods, on international law with the necessary knowledge and skills.
- Contextualise the promotion of Sustainable Development goals in the context of international Law

Assumed knowledge is the minimum level of knowledge of a subject area that students are assumed to have acquired through previous study. Students must be admitted into a Masters Level Law degree OR LA-43040 Doctor of Legal Science (Research) OR be an approved Law Study Abroad OR Law Exchange student.
