Description
Business complexity continues to evolve, where environmental, social, and governance considerations need to be integrated to meet societal challenges. This course is a pathway to addressing these complexities and developing a deeper understanding of the pivotal role business plays in society.
The sustainability of multinational corporations will be explored through readings, thought-provoking discussions, case studies, and assessments that have real-world applications. Students will review business from different perspectives to understand the diverse expectations of stakeholders and identify opportunities to lead organisations in meeting these expectations.

- Apply appropriate tools to evaluate an organisation's ecosystem, including environmental, social, and economic dimensions.
- Compare different perspectives to critically evaluate the purpose of business and its role in society.
- Evaluate key elements of an organisation's common functional areas and how they interact.
- Evaluate the role of key stakeholders of a business organisation including the expectations each may hold for it as well as the challenges and opportunities this can create.
- Critically reflect on one’s learning experience and create a plan for future application of what was learned.
