2018 intake

Tuesday 16 January 2018 (QLD Time)

QTAC applications open for the Medical Program* applicants (all Domestic applicants apply through QTAC regardless of where they live – either in Australia or overseas). Applications to the Medical Program^ is via application to:

  • Undergraduate: 020712: The Bachelor of Medical Studies (BMedSt) and the Doctor of Medicine (MD)

Or

  • Graduate: 020741: The Bachelor of Medical Studies (BMedSt) and the Doctor of Medicine (MD) (Graduate Entry)
Thursday 1 February 2018QTAC applications close to the Medical Program* (Undergraduate and Graduate)
Friday 2 February 2018 - 4:30pm (QLD Time)Deadline for all supporting documentation to be provided to QTAC
Monday 12 February 2018Eligible applicants notified by email to complete Psychometric Testing
Tuesday 13 February and Wednesday 14 February 2018 (QLD Time)

Psychometric Testing conducted on-line

Monday 26 February - Wednesday 7 March 2018Medical Program^ interviews coordinated and conducted at the Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine
Wednesday 21 March 2018, 9.00am (QLD Time)Round 1 offers for successful QTAC applicants released and available on the QTAC website and Offer Letter released by Bond University
Monday 26 March 2018Lapse Date for Round 1 offers
Tuesday 3 April 2018If Round 2 offers are required, offers for successful QTAC applicants will be released and available on the QTAC website and Offer Letter released by Bond University. .
Friday 6 April 2018Lapse Date for Round 2 offers
Tuesday 8 May 2018O-Week commences (compulsory attendance for Medical students)

* The Medical Program is comprised of two sequential degrees – the Bachelor of Medical Studies (BMedSt) and the Doctor of Medicine (MD). All students selected for entry into the Medical Program^ will have to complete both the BMedSt and MD to be eligible for registration as a medical practitioner in any state or territory in Australia or New Zealand.
