The Bond University Graduate Diploma in Sport Management is designed to challenge students to critically analyse the growing interaction between sport, business and the international arena, as well as to broaden your knowledge and skills relating to high performance sport, sustainable event management, strategic sport marketing, and sport law and governance.
The Graduate Diploma provides a unique pathway to progress into the Master of Sport Management. Both programs are designed to build on your existing skill sets and experience and prepare you for a range of leadership and management roles in sport specific disciplines. Subjects completed in the Graduate Diploma are credited to the Master program.
You must complete all of the following seven subjects:
- FINC71-600: Managerial Finance
- LAWS77-521: Global Sports Law and Governance
- MKTG71-312: Internet and Social Media Marketing
- MKTG71-600: Marketing Fundamentals
- SPMT71-115: International Sport Business
- SPMT71-120: Managing Sustainable Sport Events and Venues
- SPMT71-121: Managing High Performance Sport

The below fees are based on an average per semester cost, fees may vary based on which subjects are selected and the number of subjects enrolled in for each semester:
- 2019 fees: $19,365 per semester (based on 4 subjects per semester)
- 2020 fees: $20,070 per semester (based on 4 subjects per semester)
Price may vary depending on elective discipline choice.
When considering the fees associated with your studies, keep in mind that Bond’s accelerated schedule means you can finish your degree sooner and be out in the workforce up to a year earlier than if you went to another university.

Academic entry requirements
Completion of an Australian Qualifications Framework Level 7 Bachelor degree in a field cognate to the proposed degree.

As tuition is delivered in English, all students will be required to provide documented evidence of the required level of proficiency in the English language. Read more detailed information on English language proficiency requirements for university study.
Credit for prior study
Subject credits may be awarded for previous studies. To apply for credits, you will need to submit academic transcripts including detailed subject outlines/course descriptions for each relevant subject and/or certified copies of testamurs to the Office of Future Students.
