Bond delivers team PB at 2026 Australian Short Course Championships.
Ben Armbruster, Flynn Southam, and Josh Collett have booked berths in the Dolphins' World Short Course Championships squad after strong performances at the Australian Short Course Championships last week.
Armbruster - a Bond Sports Leadership scholar - became the first Australian to go under 22 seconds in the 50m freestyle when he clocked a scintillating 21.90 to win gold.
He also claimed bronze in the 100m butterfly.
Collett, a 2022 Hancock Prospecting Swimming Excellence Scholar, returns to the Dolphins fold for the first time since 2024 off the back of gold medals in the 100m individual medley and 100m breaststroke to go with his silver in the 200m breaststroke.
His exceptional time of 56.61 in the 100m breaststroke final set a new Australian record.
Southam backed up his Commonwealth Games form from earlier this year with gold and silver respectively in the 100m and 50m freestyle events.
Southam, Collett and Armbruster will be joined in the national team by Bond University student Max Giuliani.
Bond performed brilliantly across the entire week of competition falling just short of arch rival Griffith University in securing second in the overall point score. This was Bond Swimming's best ever result.
Bond University Director of Swimming Kyle Samuelson said he was absolutely delighted for Bond's trio of Dolphins but equally excited by his squad's performance.
"There was so much to like across the entire team.
"Claudia Fydler and Kyla Brown medalled in multiple events and swam really well.
"Gideon Burnes jagged silver and bronze in the 50m and 100m breaststroke events and continues to put his name forward. It was also great to see Jesse Coleman get among the medals.
"To get so close to top rung on the ladder as a collective over the week was a really admirable effort.
"It's the best we've ever done at a national short course championships and we are really proud of the achievement."
The World Short Course Championships will be held in China in December.
