FEE-HELP

FEE-HELP explained

Bond University is an approved private higher education provider that offers Commonwealth assistance via FEE-HELP. Like HECS-HELP, FEE-HELP is an interest-free loan provided by the Australian Government that helps eligible students pay their tuition fees.

The accumulated tuition HELP debt is indexed according to the lower of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) or Wage Price Index (WPI). FEE-HELP applies to undergraduate study and postgraduate coursework and research study.

About FEE-HELP

How do I apply for FEE-HELP

If you have received an offer from Bond University and have your Student Identification Number (SID) you can submit a FEE-HELP application online using your eStudent account as follows:

  1. Log in to eStudent
    Access eStudent via MyBond.
  2. Choose Forms from the top tab
  3. Choose Available
View all available forms if you can't see the form you need
  4. Select Request for a FEE-HELP Loan

Completing your application

When completing your form, you will need to enter the following details and submit the application online:

  • Tax File Number (TFN)
  • Unique Student Identifier (USI)

If you believe you will not receive your TFN by the census date, contact the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and request a Certificate of Application for a TFN, which you can provide to the University.

Once you receive your TFN, you must supply it to the University within 21 days, or you will lose access to FEE‑HELP.

Important: Do not print your FEE‑HELP form. Printed forms will not be accepted.

Application deadlines and important information

  • FEE‑HELP application forms must be completed by Friday of Week 2 of the semester in which you commence.
  • If you change your program of study, you must submit a new FEE‑HELP form.
