About this program

What you'll be studying

  • Semester 1

    Be introduced to the foundational concepts in food science, communication, nutrition assessment and public health priorities. 

    Explore the functions, chemistry, composition, and nutritional properties of various food and develop the skills to assess and evaluate the nutritional status of individuals and populations. 

    Learn about food and nutrition issues in developing and developed countries and enhance your communication skills via technology, media, group education, and counselling techniques.
