The Bond University Health and Wellness Clinic is a teaching clinic in which university students (under the supervision of clinical and academic experts) provide a range of health services to the public, including psychology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutrition and dietetics, and exercise and sports science.
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Supervisor to lead and support the development of interns and externs undertaking postgraduate training in Psychology. In this role, you will provide clinical supervision in alignment with university policies, ensuring the highest standards of supervision and subject content. You’ll also assist with academic and administrative duties such as preparing assessments, grading, and contributing to subject coordination.
Key responsibilities include creating and delivering high-quality learning materials, supporting students with guidance on course requirements, and being accessible for consultations. Additionally, you will help drive research initiatives within the Clinic, encouraging student and staff participation, and supporting publication efforts. You will also play a crucial role in promoting the Clinic and providing support to the Psychology Clinic Director.
About the person
The successful applicant will hold a postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology (Masters or Doctorate) and be a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. You will have an area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology and be a Board-approved supervisor for the Registrar Program (Principal Supervisor), specialising in Clinical Psychology.
Strong clinical skills, combined with a passion for supervising and mentoring early-career psychologists, will be critical in supporting the ongoing professional development of our clinic staff and students.
Salary details
The salary for this position commences at $111,294.10 per annum plus 12% superannuation per annum.
This role will also attract a pro-rated market loading of up to $15,000 per annum including 12% superannuation.
