Strengthen your Board CV and governance effectiveness with a Master of Laws in Enterprise Governance, the only LLM in Australia offered to the governance community.

The Master of Laws in Enterprise Governance is available to both law and non-law graduates. The program is designed for current directors and officers as well those seeking board positions. Participants enrolled in the program learn about the legal nature and operation of enterprise governance and the role of the board in a variety of enterprise contexts including for-profit, government and not-for-profit enterprises. Learn from experienced practitioners how to govern an enterprise in compliance with the relevant legal rules and ethical principles and to use governance as a framework for organisational excellence.

All subjects in the program are delivered using a combination of online modules and two day intensive workshops and all assessment tasks are constructively aligned and authentic.

The Master of Laws in Enterprise Governance comprises 80 credit points (8 subjects) and is conducted over 4 semesters. Students complete 2 subjects per semester.  

Law graduate recommended study plan (start any semester)

Recommended study plan for a Juris Doctor or Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP) graduate (start any semester) *

*Students with Postgraduate law study receive subject credit (for the law electives).

Non-law graduate recommended study plan (start in September only)

The below fees are based on the total estimated program fee divided by the number of standard full-time semesters required to complete the program. Fees may vary based on which subjects are selected and the number of subjects enrolled in for each semester.

Semester program fee:

  • Students commencing study in 2021: $11,420 per semester (based on 2 subjects per semester)

Total program fee:

  • Students commencing study in 2021: $45,680

When considering the fees associated with your studies, keep in mind that Bond’s accelerated schedule means you can finish your degree sooner and be out in the workforce up to a year earlier than most other universities.

Tuition fees are subject to change on an annual basis and will be charged at the appropriate fee for the year of enrolment.

* Note: for students commencing January 2021 the University has held the 2020 tuition fee amount in recognition of the current circumstances, with 2021 fees effective only from the University’s May 2021 semester.

Academic entry requirements

The Master of Laws in Enterprise Governance is open to both law and non-law graduates. 

Minimum entry requirements are:

  • a Bachelor of Laws; or
  • any Bachelor degree plus five years relevant workplace experience inclusive of two years in a leadership role.

Credit for prior study

Subject credits may be awarded for previous studies. To apply for credits, you will need to submit academic transcripts including detailed subject outlines/course descriptions for each relevant subject and/or certified copies of testamur to the Office of Future Students. Please refer to how to apply for credit for more information
