LAWS77-587: Commercial Law for Enterprises

Description

Commercial Law for Enterprises is a compulsory subject in the Master of Laws in Enterprise Governance offered by the Faculty of Law. This subject will examine the laws regulating sales and supply chains, complex contracts, consumer protection and competition as they apply to enterprises, the role of the ACCC and other relevant regulators, and the consequences of non-compliance.

Learning outcomes

  1. Explain and evaluate the rules regulating sale of goods, delivery of services and supply chains as they apply to enterprises
  2. Navigate, interpret and analyse commercial contracts such as joint ventures and capital projects
  3. Ensure compliance with consumer protection and competition laws, and explain the consequences of non-compliance
