Description
This advanced subject prepares Accredited Exercise Physiologists for specialist practice in occupational rehabilitation, workers' compensation, and corporate health. Benchmarked against SIRA and WorkHab standards, students master the legislative, biomechanical, and psychosocial competencies required to manage injured workers from injury to sustainable return-to-work. The curriculum integrates ergonomic assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluation, and work conditioning programming with the complex stakeholder management skills needed to navigate the compensable environment.
