Learning outcomes
1. Demonstrate understanding of the following foundational legal topics: legal history; legal theory; systems of government; law and social justice; global legal context; legal practice and procedure; and legal careers. 2. Demonstrate competency in exercising the following skills at an introductory level, with creativity, initiative and judgment: oral communication and advocacy; dispute resolution and collaboration; and legal ethics and professionalism. 3. Adhere to the highest standards of professionalism, including a commitment to: learning and working independently and reflectively; behaving ethically and responsibly; and managing time effectively and meeting deadlines.
