Professional biography

My research interests include: nutrition and mental health, dietary patterns and depression, body image, intuitive eating, and disordered eating.

Research interests

Dr Lee is a Senior Teaching Fellow at Bond University and has a PhD in Nutritional Psychiatry. She is the Secretary of the International Society of Nutritional Psychiatry Research (ISNPR) and the Chair of the local organising committee for the 2025 Australasian Society for Behavioural Health and Medicine (ASBHM) conference.

Dr Lee is active in research areas in health promotion and lifestyle medicine, diet and mental health, body image and eating patterns, and the mental health of academics. She has published articles in areas such as dietary patterns and depression; plant-based diet and mental health, postpartum intuitive eating, body image satisfaction and psychological wellbeing; and occupational stress and mental health in academics.
