Research interests
My role in Tactical Research Unit is as lead researcher in firefighting, stress, and cognitive load, as well as Project Manager and Logistics Coordinator. My research interest focuses on understanding how psychological, physical, and environmental stressors, such as heat and fatigue, affect decision-making and cognitive performance in tactical populations.
I use simulation-based methods to explore these factors in high-stakes environments, with a particular emphasis on firefighters, female tactical personnel and mission critical teams. My goal is to generate evidence that informs strategies to enhance occupational health, resilience, and performance where rapid, accurate decisions are critical.
