Research interests
I am an Assistant Professor in the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) at Bond University.
I am an experienced Occupational Therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience across Ireland, U.K and Canada healthcare systems. My clinical experience has spanned accross acute and community care adult services for older adults.
My PHD research focused on deveolping a model of Integrated Care for older adults tranistioning from the Emergency Department to the community. This research expolored the experiences of older adults, caregivers and healthcare professionals to better understand how acute and community healthcare services can be integrated to achieve postive healthcare outcomes for older adults during this tranistion of care.
