Breast Cancer Screening
Breast Cancer is the most common cancer for women effecting 1 in 7 women in Australia in their lifetime. Since the introduction of regular, free breast screening mortality rates have dropped nationally by 34%.
Breast screen Queensland offers free Breast screening to Women aged 50 to 74 at clinics located across the Gold Coast, no referral needed. Screening is recommended every 2 years.
Did you know that Coronary heart disease is the leading cause of death in Queensland? Or that two-thirds of Cardiac disease fatalities are preventable? It is never too early to consider your cardiac health.
Living Well - iLearn resources
Bond University students have access to a new Community page on iLearn that connects you to a wide range of wellbeing initiatives. The Building a Better Bondy community contains six subjects, including Living Well.
Developed in collaboration with mental health experts, Living Well takes a positive, preventative approach to help students maintain their mental, physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing.
About Mitchell Sharp, Registered Nurse
Mitchell Sharp is a Critical Care trained Registered Nurse with an extensive background working within the Emergency Department. He also has experience working in both Coronary Care and Radiology fields.
Having worked in critical care environments, Mitchell has experience with patient presentations ranging from minor limb injuries to providing resuscitation and advanced life support to critically unwell people.
