Graduate Certificate of Valuation and Property Development

The September semester for this program will be delivered in a multi-modal format, with classes designed to support and engage all learners. Whether they're on campus or abroad, all students will be able to access Bond's exceptional and personalised learning experience through dynamic and interactive lectures, tutorials, seminars, workshops and lab sessions.  

Prepare yourself with knowledge and technical skills for a career within property related industries and professions. Be able to demonstrate an integrated understanding of the complex body of property knowledge and skills in this field.

Intensive mode delivery

Intensive Mode Delivery is a compact and time efficient way to complete a postgraduate qualification with minimal impact on professional and personal lifestyles. Each subject is delivered over two weekends during the semester. There are two sets of three-day sessions per subject, scheduled Thursday to Saturday (approximately six to eight contact hours per day) with a break of four or five weeks between session one and session two of each subject.

Participants will receive 40 hours of combined lectures, discussion groups, case studies and workshops during contact hours. International students are required to be on campus every week.

The structure of the Graduate Certificate of Valuation and Property Development is based on theoretical and practical subjects.

Teaching methodology

Bond University’s teaching methodology involves a combination of lectures, tutorials, seminars, examinations, projects, presentations, assignments, computer labs and industry projects.

The below fees are based on the total estimated program fee. Fees each semester may vary based on which subjects are selected and the number of subjects enrolled in for each semester.

Total program fee:

  • Students commencing study in 2020: $21,720
  • Students commencing study in 2021: $22,840

When considering the fees associated with your studies, keep in mind that Bond’s accelerated schedule means you can finish your degree sooner and be out in the workforce up to a year earlier than most other universities.

Tuition fees are subject to change on an annual basis and will be charged at the appropriate fee for the year of enrolment.

* Note: for students commencing January 2021 the University has held the 2020 tuition fee amount in recognition of the current circumstances, with 2021 fees effective only from the University’s May 2021 semester.

Academic entry requirements

Completion of an Australian Bachelor degree or equivalent from an approved institution OR qualifications AND/OR relevant professional experience deemed equivalent by the Dean

Credit for prior study

Subject credits may be awarded for previous studies. To apply for credits, you will need to submit academic transcripts including detailed subject outlines/course descriptions for each relevant subject and/or certified copies of testamurs to the Office of Future Students. Please refer to how to apply for credit for more information

Skilled professionals are required in all areas of real estate development, property valuation, investment and management.

Graduates will have specialised knowledge and skills for professional practice in the area of Valuation and Property Development. They will be able to demonstrate an integrated understanding of a complex body of property knowledge and possess skills to enable them to offer cognitive and technical skills in this field. Graduates should be able to interpret and transmit knowledge, skills and ideas to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
