The Graduate Certificate in Evidence Based Practice consists of three core subjects and one elective subject.

The below fees are based on the total estimated program fee. Fees each semester may vary based on which subjects are selected and the number of subjects enrolled in for each semester.

When considering the fees associated with your studies, keep in mind that Bond’s accelerated schedule means you can finish your degree sooner and be out in the workforce up to a year earlier than most other universities.
This time saving also represents a substantial reduction in accommodation and living costs, plus a full year of extra earnings.
Tuition fees are subject to change on an annual basis and will be charged at the appropriate fee for the year of enrolment.
* Note: for students commencing January 2021 the University has held the 2020 tuition fee amount in recognition of the current circumstances, with 2021 fees effective only from the University’s May 2021 semester.
Academic entry requirements
Entry into the Graduate Certificate requires the following:
- A minimum Bachelor level degree in Health or a related program with a minimum GPA of 1/4 (equivalent to 4/7), or
- A minimum Bachelor level degree in a non-health related area with a minimum GPA of 1/4 (equivalent to 4/7) plus 3 years relevant work experience

Credit for prior study
Subject credits may be awarded for previous studies. To apply for credits, you will need to submit academic transcripts including detailed subject outlines/course descriptions for each relevant subject and/or certified copies of testamurs to the Office of Future Students. The program will produce graduates who will use evidence based research to innovate, influence, translate information and technology and bring about positive change.
The degree will provide graduates with the ability to:
- Critically read and utilise published research to inform high quality practice
- Design implementation strategies to translate effective research into local practice and sustain improvements
- Recognise and address issues of overdiagnosis and over treatment in clinical practice
Successful graduates of Graduate Certificate in Evidence Based Healthcare are well-placed to progress to further studies via Bond’s Master of Healthcare Innovations program and receive full credit for subjects studied in this program.
Graduates may also be eligible to progress to further post-graduate research leading to potential career options in research organisations and academia.

Graduate Certificate in Health Systems
The Graduate Certificate can be completed in four months full time or equivalent part time. Two core subjects must be completed, and two elective subjects chosen. The Graduate Certificate in Health Systems will positively challenge the way professionals understand and work within Australian and international health systems. The way in which the diverse population interacts with and uses healthcare services will be explored to promote equitable systems.
Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Innovations
The Graduate Diploma can be completed in eight months full time, or over multiple semesters part time. Six core subjects must be completed, and two elective subjects chosen. The Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Innovations will deepen professionals’ knowledge of health systems, evidence-based practice and organisational behaviour. Professionals will learn to use design thinking and problem solving strategies to lead, educate and influence colleagues and healthcare users towards improving and innovating healthcare practice.
Students may wish to study the above programs and transition into the Masters program, at which time they may wish to apply for credit for prior study.
Master of Healthcare Innovations
Master of Healthcare Innovations is offered full time over 3 semesters (one year), or part time over multiple semesters and is designed for professionals seeking their next challenge in healthcare.
