Embark on an adventure

  • Experience Australia

Studying at Bond University will allow you to learn and live alongside Australians, explore the natural beauty of the local landscapes, get up close to our iconic animals at the local Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, and find plenty of opportunities to pick up a surfboard or go for a swim.

Bond isn't like other universities

  • The Gold Coast is the dream destination of many US students: the perfect combination of surf, sun and sky. But not everything is beaches — we also have many startups and companies, and an interesting cultural offer. Despite recent growth, the Gold Coast retains its small-town feel and is significantly cheaper to live in compared to other cities like Sydney and Melbourne.

    EXPLORE THE GOLD COAST

  • Bond's top ranking for student experience proves our commitment to ensuring your time at university is unforgettable. With an array of opportunities available to every student — from sports to associations, exchange and more — you’ll never be short of things to do. Our exceptional student experience translates to the classroom, too, where we have a 10:1 student-to-teacher ratio that enables supportive relationships with your teachers.

    THE BOND EXPERIENCE

  • Where most undergraduate degrees in the United States can take four years to complete, you’ll gain a bachelor’s qualification from Bond in just two, due to our accelerated, three-semester-per-year timetable. Postgraduate students will benefit from our 92-week professional master’s programs, which combine accelerated studies with a 20-week work experience component designed to give you the right skills to take on the Australian career landscape – and potentially qualify you for a post-study work visa.

  • Employability is at the core of the Bond experience. Through our Career Development Centre we offer career support tailored to you and your unique aspirations, including assistance with writing your resume, finding and applying to internships or work experience, and connecting with employers. We also enhance your employability by providing extensive industry engagement opportunities, such as professional networking events and mentoring, designed to build your skills ahead of entering the workplace.

I loved the international perspective of study, and student body. It felt like a place entrepreneurs could take up space and challenge themselves. Even though at that time, I didn't realize that's what I was seeking.

Whether you study for a month or finish your degree as I did it will be an unforgettable experience. Don't hesitate at all - it is a beautiful campus, with lovely people, amazing beaches, and a fantastic community of students that you will have lifelong friendships and business relationships with.

After completing studies at Bond. I moved from the Gold Coast to Mexico, to start working with PricewaterhouseCoopers to kick-start this international career. Following some time at PWC in Sydney, I applied for a job with Maersk, the largest multinational shipping line in the world, and in the last 8 years with the company I have lived in four different locations from Oceania to Europe, the Middle East, and now North America based in the New York area. I've grown my finance career with the organization, and am now the Chief Financial Officer for the Maersk terminal, APM Terminals Elizabeth, on the US East Coast.
