Student counselling

Our psychologists at Bond University provide a free, confidential counselling service to help you with anything from academic and study pressures to personal problems.

If you are struggling with a lack of motivation, harassment or depression, or are dealing with severe trauma, you may find that one-on-one sessions with our counsellors will give you the skills to cope. They have excellent contacts with the wider healthcare community and can arrange specialist, professional assistance off campus if required.

The number of sessions will be worked out between you and your counsellor. Usually, counselling is short-term. However, clients may be referred to appropriate practitioners off-campus if long-term or specialised services are required.

Counselling is available to only students and staff of Bond University. If you have an issue that involves your partner or someone else in your family, it is sometimes appropriate to involve that person in joint counselling sessions.
